What we process

If you email us, we have your name, your email address and what you write. If you call, we see your number. We use that to reply and, if you come to stay, for your booking. Nothing else.

Legal basis: preparing and performing a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering questions.

Booking

The availability calendar on Prices & booking comes from Bookingmood, the program we use to keep track of our reservations. It only loads once you agree to it; from then on Bookingmood may set cookies. If you book through that calendar, Bookingmood processes your data for us. Cookies and external services

The site itself sets no cookies, and we don't keep visitor numbers. Fonts, photos and maps are on our own server, so nothing is fetched from another company for them. Links to Instagram, Facebook or Google Maps are ordinary links: you only reach those services when you click, and then their rules apply.

Who else sees your data

Our web host EasyHost, Telenet (where our mailbox is) and, if you book through the calendar, Bookingmood. EasyHost and Telenet keep everything within the European Union. We don't sell anything on or use your data for advertising.

Retention period

Messages that don't lead to a booking are deleted within a year. Booking data is kept as long as accounting law requires; in Belgium that is ten years.

Your rights

You can always ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to use it less or not at all, or to send you a copy. A short email is enough; you'll get an answer within a month.

If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
