Photos of the house

The photos on the Photos page, the photo at the top of the home page and some of the photos under Surroundings are ours, taken in August and September 2026. If you'd like to use one, just ask.

The logo is ours too; it was designed on commission.

Photos by others

A number of the photos under Surroundings were taken by someone else. Most come from Wikimedia Commons and are under a Creative Commons licence (CC BY-SA): we may use them as long as we credit the photographer and keep our version under the same licence. Photos marked CC0 have been released into the public domain; credit isn't required there, but we give it anyway. We haven't changed anything beyond resizing them for the web.

Map data

We drew the site plan and the location map ourselves, so no Google Maps or other map service is loaded. The outlines of woodland, heath, water, roads and buildings come from OpenStreetMap.

Fonts

Headings are set in Newsreader, body text in Schibsted Grotesk. Both fonts are under the SIL Open Font License and are hosted on our own server.
